UFS was appointed by Marks & Spencer to revitalise the café area at their Biggleswade store. The existing flooring had become tired and dated, failing to reflect the high standards of the brand or provide the durability required for a busy food and beverage environment.
Our objective was to uplift the old flooring system, prepare the subfloor to an impeccable standard, and install a new surface that would transform the aesthetic of the café while delivering long-term performance. The first stage of the works involved the careful uplift of the existing tiled flooring. This was carried out with precision to protect the surrounding finishes and to create a safe working environment. Once uplifted, the exposed subfloor was inspected in detail to assess its condition.
To ensure the perfect foundation for the new installation, UFS applied a combination of levelling compounds and surface treatments, eliminating any imperfections and delivering a flawless base.
